While I may not be the most knowledgeable person when it comes to the topic of documentaries, I know what I like. As with all types of movies, some documentaries are good and some are not. This growing list of documentaries includes those docs I've seen to which I gave a rating of four stars or better.

March of the Penguins (La Marche de l'empereur) (2004,  G)
March of the Penguins (La Marche de l'empereur) 4.5 Stars
Although I was initially skeptical about this documentary because of its wide-scale release, I was delightfully surprised. March of the Penguins is not only a beautiful film, but it's educational and touching at the same time.

Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price 4.0 Stars
While I don't necessarily agree with all of the complaints about Wal-Mart, it's a good (if incredibly biased) documentary.
